Since 1991 Peter has been in a group of investors who have successfully founded companies with a foundation of knowledge. Three have been on-sold profitably and Peter was the chairman and a shareholder in each company.

He started his career as a management trainee at BP (NZ) Ltd followed by a career in chartered accounting with Touche Ross & CO (now Deloitte) both in New Zealand and in Scotland. This was followed by employment in the finance sector with Marac, Barclays Bank and Saudicorp.
